Born in 1963 in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine.
Graduated from Republic Secondary School of Art (1981) and from the Kiev State Institute of Fine Arts (1987).
He is the Member of the Artists Union of Ukraine since 1992.

Since 1991 Lyubiy works in Experimental Graphic Studious of Kyiv Artists Union as a printmaker of lithography. His professional interests include graphic arts and painting.

Since 1989 Volodimir Lyubiy takes part in many city, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions.
